Schools & Colleges
The Hepworth Wakefield’s schools and colleges programme is designed to inspire young people, encourage their creativity and enhance their cultural capital.
We welcome schools, colleges and universities to the gallery to learn in a creative and inspiring environment, surrounded by world-class art.
You can bring your group to the gallery to explore, draw, think, discuss and create through teacher-led visits or artist-led workshops. Please book teacher-led visits two weeks in advance and artist-led workshops four weeks in advance by completing our online enquiry form.

The gallery is FREE for all under 18s, and complimentary tickets are available for accompanying staff for all pre-booked School, College and University visits.
For pre-booked College and University group visits, we also offer FREE entry to the gallery for students over 18-24. Students who are not part of a pre-booked group or who are aged 25 & over are eligible for our discounted student ticket at £10.
We also offer a Young Membership scheme from £12 per student for the whole year, giving them unlimited free entry to our changing programme of exhibitions and collections displays.
