Light Up
Sat 3 Dec
4 – 7pm
FREE
The Hepworth Wakefield building will be illuminated on Saturday 3 December as part of Wakefield Council’s Light Up festival.
For The Hepworth Wakefield, digital projection artists Illuminos will draw on the connection between Barbara Hepworth and the Yorkshire landscape that influenced so much of the artist’s work. The projection will bring the gallery building alive with vivid animated content that flows like water across its surfaces. The piece will be guided by soundscapes and spoken word, combining visuals, music and voice.
Funded as part of Light Up, led by Wakefield Council from 16 – 27 November 2022 across the Wakefield district.
