Garden Play

Tue 2 May, every Sat & Sun/ Tues - Sun during Wakefield school holidays, 11am - 4pm

Suitable for families with children aged 0 - 12 years old.

Come and play in The Hepworth Wakefield Garden.

Stack, build, experiment, draw and imagine with your family in the open air. Be inspired by the garden’s artworks and plants, the weather and buildings around you. No need to book, just turn up and play.

Garden Play was developed in collaboration with children and staff from The Castle Nursery, artist Steph Jefferies and architects Studio Polpo with support from the Liz & Terry Bramall Foundation.

 

Please note

Participation in Garden Play is on a on a first-come, first-served basis and families may have to wait to take part at busy times.

Explore & Draw kits brimming with ideas for creative play in the garden are available to borrow from the welcome desk.

Children must be accompanied at all times. Maximum of three children per adult.

Please dress appropriately for the weather. Bring a change of clothes in case your child gets messy or wet. Toilets, hand washing and baby changing facilities are available inside the gallery building.

Entry to the galleries is £12 / £10 / FREE for Members, Wakefield district residents and under 18s. Concessions are available.
