Family drop-in: Snapshot Stories

Experiment with image making in this playful collage workshop inspired by Hannah Starkey: In Real Life.
Visit the galleries with your family to explore Starkey’s photographs. Imagine stories and look at composition, framing and layers with creative activities.
In the learning studios play with shapes, colours and elements from Starkey’s photographs on our magnetic wall. Select and move the images around to contribute to an ever changing artwork. Or make your own collage using bright papers, tapes, and cut out photographs.
Please note
Children must be accompanied at all times. Maximum of three children per adult please.
Entry to the drop-in-workshops are on a first-come, first-served basis and families may have to wait to take part at busy times.
Exhibition entry is £12 / £10 / FREE for Members, Wakefield district residents and under 18s. Concessions are available.
