Family drop-in: Clay Studio
Sunday 21 May, drop-in 11am - 4pm (closed for lunch 1 - 1.30pm). FREE with an exhibition ticket
Suitable for families with children aged 2 - 12.
Join artists to explore textures and shapes in Barbara Hepworth’s artworks and make your own clay sculpture to take home.
Visit the galleries with your family with to discover Hepworth’s sculptures, looking at materials, surfaces, textures and form. Make a collection of drawings to take back to the learning studio.
In the learning studios experiment with clay using a variety of tools and objects to make surface texture on your own mini sculpture to take home.
Please note
Children must be accompanied at all times. Maximum of three children per adult please.
Entry to the drop-in-workshops are on a first-come, first-served basis and families may have to wait to take part at busy times.
