The Hepworth Wakefield Remains Closed

Wakefield is in Tier 3, which means that sadly, the gallery is not yet permitted to reopen.

While we remain closed, we will continue to provide digital content, including a filmed curator tour and online time line of our new exhibition, Vision & Reality: 100 Years of Contemporary Art in Wakefield, together with curator diaries revealing recent research into Wakefield’s collection and news stories about new acquisitions and initatives.

The Hepworth Wakefield Garden will remain open and free to enjoy. During your visit, please observe the necessary safety measures and ensure that you are two metres apart from anyone not in your household or support bubble.

Our online shop also remains open, providing vital income for the gallery which is a registered charity.
