Stack, build, experiment, draw and imagine with your family in the open air. Be inspired by the garden’s artworks and plants, the weather and buildings around you. No need to book, just turn up and play.

Toddler Tuesdays
Enjoy a playful morning with your little ones and join specialist early years artists to explore The Hepworth Wakefield.
Discover artworks, architecture and the changing seasons through play, singing, movement, drawing and sensory activities.

The Hepworth Wakefield is open Tuesday – Sunday, 10am – 5pm.
Children must be accompanied at all times unless otherwise stated.
WHERE TO EAT
Our café serves food for children or bring a packed lunch to enjoy in our indoor picnic area or in the garden.
FACILITIES
The Hepworth Wakefield is accessible, has baby changing facilities and plenty of room for buggies and pushchairs. For access information about the gallery please visit our website. Please note that the playground is currently closed for redevelopment.
Our Warm space is open Tuesday – Sunday, 10am – 5pm. You are welcome to sit, read, play, draw and stay as long as you wish. You will find books, newspapers, magazines, comfortable seating, drawing materials and play activities – all for free.
